Clicking in the top two shadowed fields causes a "popup" menu to appear. You can then choose the proper setting.
The Baud Rate field indicates the speed AppleLink uses to talk to your modem. Click in the box to choose a baud rate. You should consult your modem's documentation for the proper baud rate to use.
The "Phone Type" field selects the method AppleLink uses to dial your modem (Touch-Tone™ or Pulse).
